About me

My name is Mata Taramai. My amazing wife Angie and I have been married for over 30 years and we have four beautiful children Murphy, Dayna, Nixon, and Rios. I’m proud to be Cook Island and I continue to pursue deeper connections with my culture.

I’m an active member in my community as the Chairman of the Board of Managers at St Davids Presbyterian Church, head of the neighborhood watch for my street, a volunteer Firefighter, and previously a Wellington Rugby Referee for college and senior grade.

I live a simple life based on my core values: Family, Culture, Joy, and Service. I’m an open and honest person who is passionate about helping people. I have a great sense of humor with a caring nature. I’ve worked hard to provide the best life for my family and now I’m able to use the same commitment to provide to my clients.

I look forward to working with you!

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”
Galatians 5:13

My why is to be of service to my community, my church, and my culture. I believe I’ve been gifted with the ability to hold space for moments of celebration and sadness. For me this is heart-driven.

I offer guidance and support during times of need and create a stress-free experience. You will always get all of me because being of service is not what I do, it's who I am.
